Manila, Philippines – NEXTASIA Land Inc., in full support of the Department of Education, joined Brigada Eskwela SY 2024-2025 on July 27, 2024. This year’s theme, “Bayanihan Para sa Matatag na Paaralan,” in partnership with Hello Lipa, selected Edilberto L. Mendoza Memorial Elementary School in Barangay Latag Purok 7, Lipa City, Batangas, as the beneficiary for this event.
NEXTASIA Land volunteer employees and senior leadership team collaborated with the principal and faculty members of Edilberto L. Mendoza Elementary School to conduct a general cleanup. They brought cleaning materials and tools to facilitate the process. Additionally, embodying NEXTASIA Land Inc.’s commitment to environmental sustainability, the company donated recycling bins to help students understand the importance of segregating biodegradable and non-biodegradable waste.
Head Principal Boyd L. Aguila expressed gratitude for NEXTASIA’s initiative, saying,
“We are thankful for NEXTASIA’s efforts towards a cleaner and greener environment.”
A formal contract signing took place with NEXTASIA’s dedicated leadership team, including COO Dustin Y. Carreon and Deputy to COO Tristan Y. Carreon, alongside Head Principal Boyd L. Aguila. Together, they signed an agreement to install solar-powered street lights, illuminating the school’s pathways and ensuring the safety of students at night.
COO Dustin Y. Carreon remarked,
“As we continue to expand our presence in Lipa City, we are committed to forging strong partnerships with local government units and the Department of Education. By supporting our students, we are investing in a brighter future for our community. They are the torchbearers of tomorrow, and it is our duty to light their way.”
